BCD was awarded the opportunity to create and develop the brand identity design for Acworth’s first brewery while the business was still a conceptual idea. The challenge about this project was that there was absolutley no tangible product or visible service to brand - just a concept. It was exciting to attend meetings and be very involved with the evolving model of the business - especially during the construction of the brewhouse.

This brand identity design project for Red Top Brewhouse was fueled by a deep appreciation for community, quality time, and the essence of local flavors. Our goal was to create a visual identity that would embody the values and spirit of Red Top Brewhouse, a place where families and friends come together to enjoy exceptional food and drinks in a cozy, local environment. The surrounding, natural landscape of the brewhouse’s name sake was a huge inspiration to the design, especially the color palette and the “georgia clay RED” that became the signature brand element for Red Top Brewhouse. The logo is comprised of a full, illustrative graphic depicting Red Top Mountain and Lake Allatoona in conjunction with the wordmark for Red Top. Rustic and industrial qualities within the fonts, textures, and hand drawn elements lend a unique yet adventurous touch to their branding.
